Miss Scott

Hello everyone, my name is Miss Scott. I am new to Jesmond Gardens and I will be working in Nursery. I am looking forward to crating opportunities for children to learn and grow through play.

When I am not in school i spend my time with my two puppies who love to go on walks and explore new places. However my favourite place to be is at home, watching a film and trying different foods.

Something I like about Jesmond Gardens Primary School: I love seeing the different slippers and jazzy socks children come to school in!

What I enjoy doing in my spare time: swimming and scuba diving

Mrs Gray

Hello, I am Mrs Gray and I joined Jesmond Gardens in 2010 to begin my teaching career. I teach in KS1 and absolutely love teaching all of my Year 1 and 2’s. In my spare time I like going to go to the gym to work out. I also love eating out at nice restaurants but most of all I love to shop till I drop. I adore all animals except spiders!

My role in school: Year 3 Teacher

Something I like about Jesmond Gardens Primary School: I really enjoy working at Jesmond Gardens because it is a lovely community. The children here make me smile daily ... what more could you want from a job!

What I enjoy doing in my spare time: In my spare time I enjoy running. It helps me to clear my mind and relax. 

Mrs Egan 

Hi everyone! My name is now Mrs Egan but it was Miss. Thompson. I am currently working in year 5. I enjoy teaching maths, P.E and drama, and love making learning fun for everyone!

When I'm not at school, I like to read, watch films and spend time with my friends. I also love keeping active and am a keen kickboxer, but it's always nice to relax with a cup of tea afterwards!

Mrs Dixon

Hi. My name is Mrs. Dixon. I have been at Jesmond Gardens since 2000 as a part-time teacher. My work is linked to Special Educational needs and I am a specialist dyslexia teacher.

Outside school I like to attend concerts and sporting events. I also enjoy travelling and love to visit my daughter in the USA.

Miss Atkins

Hello, My name is Miss Atkins and I am new to Jesmond Gardens this year, I will be working in reception class mainly but you might see me in other classrooms too. I love to make learning fun so that children can enjoy their time at school, I love to see children makes progress, it’s extremely rewarding.

When I’m not at school I love to spend time practicing at my archery club (I think I’m better than Katnis Everdeen). I also love long walks with my dog and spending time with my family and friends. On rainy days I like to cuddle up on the couch with a good book (Harry Potter is my all time favourite).  


Mrs Smith

My role in school: Year 5 teacher and Emotional Wellbeing Champion.

Something I like about Jesmond Gardens Primary School: I really like the feeling you get when you walk in to  the school;  all of the staff and children are always happy and smiling and I love coming to work.

What I enjoy doing in my spare time: I love going away in my caravan with my family and two dogs. I also enjoy horse riding and going to the gym.

What I enjoy doing in my spare time:  Scuba Diving, Playing Guitar and watching Newcastle United.

What I enjoy doing in my spare time: In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, walking, swimming and reading.



Miss Harrington

Hello everyone! I am Miss Harrington and have been lucky enough to join Jesmond Gardens in September 2017. I am working with the lovely Year 6’s this year and am excited for the opportunity to teach such a fantastic group of students. My favourite subject to teach is English, especially creative writing.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, reading (especially Harry Potter), taking my dogs out for walks and drinking lots of tea and coffee.
